Banks R. Cates III, M.D.
Dr. Cates received his medical degree from the University of Zurich Medical School in Switzerland and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Greenville Health System. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. At Hillcrest Memorial Hospital of the Greenville Health System, Dr. Cates has served as chief of staff, chairman of the Medical Care Committee, vice president of the Medical Staff, and chairman of the Intensive Care Unit and Respiratory Therapy departments.
Patricia L. Cheek, M.D.
Dr. Cheek received her medical degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Nephrology. With specialties in internal medicine and nephrology, she also has a special interest in preventive medicine. Dr. Cheek has joined Cypress Internal Medicine Hillcrest as a primary care physician.
Nanette Dendy, M.D.
Dr. Nanette Dendy joined Cypress Internal Medicine-Hillcrest the Spring of 2010. In the six years prior, she practiced and taught as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her interests include preventive medicine and women’s medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Christa R. McCann, M.D.
Dr. McCann received her medical degree from the University of Miami School Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Greenville Health System where she was Chief Resident during her final year. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Her special interests include cardiovascular disease, risk assessment, and women’s health.
